Special Needs Parking Spot and COLL Opportunity

Reminder About Special Needs Parking at CMES:

Just a reminder, please do not park in the two special needs parking spots at CMES unless you have a permit. This also means to not block the spots either during drop off and pick up. Teacher supervisors are going to try and place pylons so this is avoided in the future. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Circle of Life-Long Learning Camp:

The UGDSB is pleased to be hosting our 3rd Circle of Life-Long Learning Camp this summer from July 31-August 3, 2017.  This is a camp which provides intergenerational learning for Indigenous youth and a caregiver through the services available to us as partners of the University of Waterloo.  We are reaching out to you today because you may be in contact with Indigenous youth who are between the ages of 10-12 who would enjoy the experiences offered.

Previous programs have included things such as science, craft, and cultural based workshops.  Improving is always our goal and this year we are pleased to announce that we are including a trip to Canada’s Wonderland.

A poster and camp application is attached.  Applications are due by July 3, 2017. Earlier application submissions are encouraged as space is limited.
