About Us

Welcome to Ken Danby Public School! Our kindergarten to grade 8 school opened on September 2008 and every year we create new traditions and make wonderful memories. Ken Danby School is a place where we can all grow and gain innovative experiences and make new friends.

Ken Danby Public School Our school is not just a building, but a community of people. It is through the efforts of many people working together – students, teachers, support staff, parents and community members, that we will be able to achieve our goals and make our building a successful place to learn. For example, in the school year 2010-2011 we were awarded the status of a Gold Ecoschool. We are very proud of our accomplishment in fostering environmental awareness in our school community and preparing our youth to take their place as empowered citizens who will play a lead role in caring for our planet.

Students at Ken Danby Public School are encouraged to realize their potential, and follow their dreams. We strive to instill a philosophy of life-long learning in each and every child. Education is a student’s richest resource, and allows them to make a difference in their own life and in the lives of others. At Ken Danby Public School we will provide opportunities, not only in the classroom but also through extra-curricular activities, for students to grow academically, socially and physically.
