The UGDSB is establishing a French Second Language Advisory Committee (FSLAC). The Committee will serve in an advisory role and make recommendations with respect to the FSL Action Plan and the French Immersion JK Registration Process for 2017 and beyond.
Eleven Committee members will be selected from all areas of the Board, and will be parents of current elementary or secondary FSL students in either French Immersion or Core French programs. Interested parents may forward an application to Superintendent Tracey Lindsay which includes the following:

Please locate your grade number. All classroom teachers will be there to meet you. At this time students will find out which class they are in. In anticipation of the new school year, many students enjoy preparing for the school year by gathering school supplies. Please find attached a list of suggested school supplies list to help you out. This year approximately 380 of our students participated in Heart and Stroke Jump Rope for Heart. Together we raised close to $6000.00 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation – thanks to your support! By participating in Jump Rope for Heart, students at S.I.B. learn about heart health and the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. The Upper Grand District School Board is in the process of recruiting International Students from around the world to attend secondary and elementary schools in our District. At this time we are taking applications from families who would like to be considered as host families and would welcome international students into their homes for short or long term stays.
