About Us

Westminster Woods PS opened in 2010, and we are home to the Trailblazers. We take to heart our school motto of, “We lead with respect, and we follow with responsibility.” Our student population is diverse, as there are over 30 different languages spoken by our students, and our students were born in over 30 different countries worldwide. We have a variety of different clubs, sports, and extra-curricular activities to offer our students. Environmental awareness is important to our school community, and not only do we have a forest nearby that classes explore, we have also been a Gold Level Eco School for the past six years. By exploring technology, including coding, Lego League, and Makerspaces, our students are able to further develop their 21^st century technology skills. Westminster Woods is a caring community where kindness is modelled, and where we believe in success for all students.
