Take Our Kids to Work Day turns 25 on November 6

November 4, 2019

GUELPH, Ontario – November 6 is Take Our Kids to Work Day. This day is the most recognized career exploration event in Canada and is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

Take Our Kids to Work Day is a great opportunity for Canadian students in grade 9 to explore career options in a fun and engaging way.

Students all over the Upper Grand District School Board will be accompanying their parent/guardian or relative to work on November 6 to learn about the various career opportunities available to them and those students coming to work with UGDSB staff will learn about the many opportunities in public education.

Students visiting the UGDSB Guelph Board Office will start their morning with an orientation from Healthy and Safety and Specialist High Skills Major staff, and will finish the day at their parent/guardian’s work station.
