Section 23 Class Approved For Alma

Please note there will be more information to follow but I wanted everyone to know that the application to house a section 23 program in Alma P.S. has been approved.  As discussed at Council the program is essentially a small specialized class designed to support children who experience behavioral challenges in a regular classroom setting.  The class will be comprised of a small group of students from grades one to six as well as a number of specialized professionals.  The program runs separately from Alma P.S. but is housed in our building.  I am available to answer any questions that you may have, please feel free as always to stop in or give me a call.  Please note that your child’s experience at Alma P.S. will not be impacted or affected in any way.
