Temporary crossing guard to be added near King George, John Galt schools during city construction

GUELPH, Ontario – The City of Guelph will be placing a temporary adult crossing guard near King George Public School and John Galt Public School during city construction.

On Tuesday Oct. 27, an additional crossing guard will be placed at the intersection of Eramosa Road and Metcalfe Street to assist students crossing the street on their way to and from school.

The crossing guard will be in place between 8:00 a.m. and 8:35 a.m. and again from 3:05 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. on the northeast corner of the intersection.

The temporary crossing guard will remain at the intersection until construction is completed.

The alternative date for construction is Wed. Oct. 28.
