Mark Bailey elected chair of the Upper Grand District School Board

GUELPH, Ontario (December 5, 2012) – Mark Bailey, a trustee representing wards 1 and 5 in
the City of Guelph, has been elected Chair of the Upper Grand District
School Board. Bailey took over the reins from Orangeville trustee Bob
Borden, who had earlier indicated that he would not seek a ninth term as
board chair.

Local Students promote biodiversity in Guelph Art Showcase and launch event scheduled for January 4, 2010

GUELPH, Ontario (January 4, 2011) — GUELPH, Ontario — The da Vinci Arts & Science Environmental Leadership Program 2010 has completed a project designed to raise awareness and promote biodiversity in our community. This student-driven project has resulted in an exceptional showcase of biodiversity art which will appear on and in Guelph transit buses. This public display has been made possible by the City Of Guelph, Guelph Transit, Sambrook Media, the Gosling Foundation, and Lumichrom.
