Bullying Prevention and Awareness Week in Upper Grand schools

GUELPH, Ontario (November 18, 2013) — Students across the district are wearing wristbands,
creating and hanging posters, learning about the board’s “Report
Bullying” tool, hearing entertaining speakers and donning pink as they
stand up against bullying during Ontario’s Bullying Prevention and
Awareness Week, November 17-23.

elementary school and four secondary school renovation projects in
Guelph and for a major elementary school addition in Orangeville.

Boundary reviews wrap up in Centre Wellington and Guelph/Eramosa

GUELPH, Ontario (January 30, 2014) – Boundary reviews of elementary school attendance areas in Centre Wellington and Guelph/Eramosa townships have concluded. At the regular board meeting on January 28 trustees voted to approve Scenario 9 – Modified in the James McQueen PS Boundary Review, and
Scenario 2 in the New Rockwood Elementary School Boundary Review.

Boundary reviews launch for schools in Rockwood and Ponsonby

GUELPH, Ontario (September 6, 2013) — The Upper Grand District School Board is launching separate boundary reviews in Rockwood and Ponsonby in response to enrolment pressures brought on by Full Day Kindergarten (FDK), residential growth and interest in French Immersion programs.

Boundary Review process begins for new Shelburne school

GUELPH, Ontario (January 25, 2012) – The attendance area for a new JK-8 elementary school to be built in Shelburne will be determined by a boundary review to be conducted over the next five months. Trustees of the Upper Grand District School Board voted to begin the process at their meeting on January 24.
