CCVI collects 100+ gifts for children at Grand River Hospital
December 15, 2017
GUELPH, Ontario – The students and staff at Centennial CVI are hoping to make the holidays a little bit brighter for some special children.
The school’s Social Responsibility Council organized a toy drive, collecting presents for the Grand River Hospital Children’s Day Unit.
More than 100 gifts were collected for children that receive care at the hospital.
Members of the Social Responsibility Council collected and sorted the presents, adding homemade gift tags on each one.
The idea for the toy drive came from a student at CCVI who suggested the initiative after having experienced the joy of receiving a gift while in the hospital.
Great work Spartans!
