UGDSB students drafted to the OHL

GUELPH, Ontario – Upper Grand District School Board students have been drafted to the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute student Jake K. has been drafted by his hometown hockey team, the Guelph Storm.

Jake was picked by the Storm in the second round of the online OHL draft on April 4.

Jake currently plays for the Guelph Jr. Gryphons as a centre.

Wellington Heights Secondary School students Charlie M. and Will L. were also drafted to play for OHL teams. 

Charlie was drafted in the 14th round to play for the Owen Sound Attack.

Will was drafted in the 14th round to play for the Peterborough Petes.
