CCVI students excel during World Advanced Placement exams

GUELPH, Ontario – The Advancement Placement (AP) exam results for Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute for the year were above the provincial, national, and world levels in Chemistry, Biology, English Literature, Physics, and Computer Science. AP exams have been offered to students at CCVI for more than 20 years and the scores have often been above national average scores.
AP Calculus at the school achieved an impressive result. The average score for the students who wrote the AP Calculus exam was 5.00, which is the highest possible score available, while the worldwide average was 2.97. This score shows that every student who wrote the AP Calculus exam at CCVI achieved the highest possible score this year.
