GUELPH, Ontario – Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute has just finished its first Advanced Placement Calculus course. This is the first AP Calculus course of its kind in the Upper Grand District School Board.

The goal of this course is to prepare future engineering, math, physics, chemistry, and economics students for calculus in their post-secondary education as well as preparing students to write the AP Calculus AB exam to get university credit in high school.

The students are showing off their final project, a 3-D model of a function. Congratulations on a great semester for Mr. Fowler and his class.
