Centennial Hylands ES celebrates International Day of Pink

SHELBURNE, Ontario – Distance learning didn’t stop students and staff at Centennial Hylands Elementary School from participating in International Day of Pink.

International Day of Pink was on April 8. The day highlights the importance of standing up against bullying, discrimination, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and transmisogyny.

Parents of students at Centennial Hylands ES sent teachers photos of their children wearing pink and discussing ways to end discrimination. Staff at the school participated in the day by sharing photos too.
