College Heights SS opens its doors to future Huskies

November 30, 2017

GUELPH, Ontario – College Heights Secondary School hosted grade 8 students at the school November 28 through 30th to showcase what the school has to offer students entering grade 9 next year.

More than 800 local grade 8 students had the chance to experience a day in the life of a CHSS Husky. The tours gave students the opportunity to learn about the programming and opportunities that CHSS has to offer.

Grade 8 students made wooden robots in the construction class, had the chance to make monogrammed key chains in the welding class, create their own pizza designs in the kitchen and bake cupcakes in the bakeshop.

Visiting students also had the chance to get a hair extension in the cosmetology classroom and bring home a plant from the horticulture class.

The tours highlighted the many possibilities and pathways that CHSS has to offer potential future Huskies.
