CWDHS Angel Campaign provides gifts to those in need

FERGUS, Ontario – Centre Wellington District High School is spreading kindness in the community.

CWDHS’s Community Leadership Class and Student Council recently ran a very successful Angel Campaign for the local food bank.

More than 30 homerooms raised money and bought gifts for families in the community who might not otherwise have presents for the holidays. Homerooms provided gifts for more than 40 children and teens, filling up three carloads worth of donations.

The event was a true reflection of the generosity of the community and the leadership of CWDHS students.

The school would like to give a special thanks to Giant Tiger, who offered a discount to all the school homerooms shopping for Angel gifts, and Marks Work Warehouse for the donation of warm, fuzzy socks.
