CWDHS Falcons win OFSAA hockey championship

FERGUS, Ontario – The Centre Wellington District High School girls’ hockey team claimed the Ontario Championship in AAA girls’ hockey on March 22.
This win was not only the first for CWDHS, but also the first time a AAA girls’ hockey team from the Central Western Ontario School Athletic Association has won the Ontario Federation (OFSAA) title.
In the championship game, the Falcons played against the Medway Cowboys of Arva and won the game 2-1.
