CWDHS supporting mental health and wellness through bikeshare and repair program
FERGUS, Ontario – A new initiative at Centre Wellington District High School will focus on active travel and the sharing economy as a way to support mental health and well-being.
Students and teachers in the Student Success department at CWDHS are planning to support mental health and wellness through that noble form of transportation – the bicycle.
With financial support from the Royal Bank, Julie Janisse handed Mr. Arnold from CWDHS a cheque for $1,000 to go toward purchasing the first tools and repair stand for the “CWDHS Bikeshare and Repair” program.
We can’t wait to see the progress of this exciting initiative!
