GUELPH, Ontario – The Upper Grand District School Board has released a draft of the Long Term Accommodation Plan (LTAP) Final Report.

The LTAP is a strategic review of the UGDSB’s facilities, population and enrolment projections to ensure that school facilities are aligned with the needs of the board and the communities it serves.

The LTAP does not include recommendations about changes to any school boundaries or programs. Instead, it outlines a list of proposed priorities for the short and long-term and a proposed work plan for future processes, such as boundary reviews or impact studies, to be undertaken.

The draft LTAP Final Report identifies a number of proposed short-term (1-5 years) priorities including:

Proposed long-term (6-10 years) priorities include:

Additionally, the LTAP enrolment information and priorities will be reviewed annually.

The board continues to invite public feedback throughout the LTAP process. Members of the public can review all documents and provide feedback online at www.ugdsb.ca/ltap. Five regional public meetings are scheduled in May. Attendees will hear a presentation on the draft LTAP Final Report and will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide input.
