EQAO Grade 9 Math writing opportunity

The Grade 9 EQAO Assessment of Mathematics is administered at the end of the Grade 9 de-streamed mathematics course. It was scheduled to take place in late January at the end of Quadmester 2. However, due to the school closures after the winter break, the decision was made not to administer the assessment at that time.
Parents/guardians of students who were enrolled in the destreamed Grade 9 math course in Quadmester 2 will be receiving a letter from their child’s school. If you would like your child to have the opportunity to complete EQAO before the end of the school year, please complete the Google Form below.
Please note:
- The Grade 9 EQAO Assessment of Mathematics is not mandatory for students who took the course in Quadmester 2 and is not a requirement for graduation.
- The result of a Quadmester 2 student writing EQAO in June will not change the final mark in the course.
- Quadmester 2 students will miss class time in another subject in order to complete EQAO in June and will be responsible for completing any outstanding work.
- The actual administration dates will be determined and communicated by your child’s school.
