For Immediate Release
February 7, 2019

GUELPH, Ontario – On March 6, Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute is hosting its third annual Tech & Trades Fair.

The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and interest among students around careers in technology and the trades.

Through exposure to information and employers, the event aims to motivate students to consider a career in technology and trades, particularly in lesser-known trades and professions.

There is a significant demand in Canada for skilled workers and many exciting and rewarding career opportunities are available to young people in the skilled trades.

At the GCVI event, students will have the opportunity to connect with potential employers looking for full-time, part-time or summer workers and apprenticeship candidates.

Media are invited to attend.
