Grade 7 and 8 students explore career pathways through virtual workshop

February 5, 2021

GUELPH, Ontario – On February 4, grade 7 and 8 students across the Upper Grand District School Board took part in a virtual workshop to engage in career pathway explorations.

Career pathways help elementary students make informed decisions about the programs available to them as they enter secondary school. Many of these programs can contribute to meaningful careers or post-secondary studies.

This interactive workshop taught students the importance of taking frequent self-inventories of their skills, motivations, and desires, as they start thinking about career options and education pathways.
