Every year, the school hosts an annual food drive campaign, but this year it was decided that students and staff could bring in food donations for one day that would be collected safely.

Families were notified of the food drive through communication from the school and social media.

To ensure everything was done safely and none of the food items came inside the school, each class was provided with a bin at the start of the day. Students were asked to put their donations directly in the bin first thing in the morning before coming into the school.

At the end of the day on December 15, Guelph Lake PS had collected 432 kgs of food for the Guelph Food Bank.

Great job Guelph Lake!
