Help keep our community safe, become a school crossing guard

GUELPH, Ontario – Are you looking for a way to give back to your community?

The City of Guelph is currently accepting applications for spare adult school crossing guard positions.

School crossing guards are a vital part of our school communities. They are committed and reliable, friendly and community minded. Crossing guards are posted near elementary schools during school arrival and dismissal times to assist students and pedestrians crossing busy streets.

Spare school crossing guards cover off vacancies throughout the city. Spare guards are required to have a reliable vehicle, are paid mileage and are guaranteed one hour’s wage in stand-by pay per day.
