John F. Ross CVI is currently accepting nominations for the 2019 Hall of Fame inductees.

The Hall of Fame project began in 2015 with the intention of honouring the most influential and impactful former students from John F. Ross CVI, individuals who have excelled with distinction in the Arts, Athletics, Politics, Science, Business or other field.

The school’s inaugural induction ceremony was held in April 2017. Previous recipients are John F. Ross, E. L. Fox, Steve Redmond, David Neil Trifunovich, and Marlene Truscott.

Nominees must be a graduate or attended Ross for a minimum of two years, must be out of secondary school for at least five years, must be publicly recognized with distinction for their achievements, and must have consistently demonstrated accomplishments in their field over a period of time.

A selection panel, made up of eight current Ross staff members and Principal Beth Burns, will carefully vet all submissions, confirm achievements and create a list of honourees.

The deadline to nominate a former Ross student for the 2019 Hall of Fame is November 16, 2018. The 2019 inductees will be honoured in April 2019.
