Laurelwoods ES wins raffle by Ontario Active School Travel

ORANGEVILLE, Ontario – Laurelwoods Elementary School has won a raffle that was put on by Ontario Active School Travel. Schools that registered for Winter Walk Day were entered into the draw and only four winners were selected from across the province.
During Winter Walk Day, students at the school rotated through winter activity stations including snowshoeing, curling, hockey and tobogganing.
Out of 469 schools from across Ontario, Laurelwoods ES, a school in the York Region DSB, Toronto DSB and Dufferin Peel CDSB were each selected as the winners of a $50 Canadian Tire gift card.
Each school that registered for Winter Walk Day in the province received a certificate of recognition from Ontario Active School Travel.
