Life Skills students at WHSS have message for returning students and staff
February 5, 2021
MOUNT FOREST, Ontario – Life Skills students at Wellington Heights Secondary School have created a special message for returning students and staff.
As per Ministry guidelines, those in specialized classes for students with developmental disabilities were permitted to continue in-class learning during the latest lockdown, and as a result, the students in “The Den” life skills class at WHSS missed their fellow classmates.
Den students wanted to do something special for those returning and they decided to create this message. Students cut out and painted the letters and hung the message prominently in the school cafetorium. The message reads ‘Welcome Back We Missed You.
The Den students have missed their fellow Wolverines and are excited to welcome everyone back in person!
