Mitchell Woods PS hosts 4th annual pancake breakfast

GUELPH, Ontario – On October 19, Mitchell Woods Public School celebrated its fourth annual Pancake Breakfast and Mitchell Woods 101 event with the school community.
The morning featured a free breakfast, supervised crafts and play activities for children. The event also featured information booths from community partners and a workshop by Michelle Nogueira.
Nogueira is from Homewood Health and spoke to parents and guardians about youth technology and screen time.
This event was a huge success and saw more than 124 community members attend.
The school would like to thank their donors for the event including, McDonald’s, Gay Lea and Shady Grove Maple Farm. The school would also like to thank the School Council for their hard work hosting the event and the student and community volunteers who made the event possible.
The day saw Mitchell Woods PS put their motto into action by being respectful, positive, welcoming and by contributing their best to make the school awesome.
