December 6, 2017

GUELPH, Ontario – The Ontario Student Trustees’ Association (OSTA-AECO) has released results from its latest survey of students, parents and educators in the province.

OSTA-AECO is the official representative of two million students in Ontario. The nonprofit, nonpartisan organization works with the Ministry of Education and other major stakeholders in education, advocates on behalf of students at a provincial level and provides professional development opportunities for Student Trustees from Ontario’s school boards, including the Upper Grand District School Board.

The survey collected data from more than 5,000 students, parents and educators across Ontario.

Topics addressed include the perceived value and effectiveness of financial literacy education, mental health supports, and student voice in schools across the province.
