OPSBA offering scholarship opportunity to secondary students

GUELPH, Ontario – The Ontario Public School Board Association’s (OPSBA) Central West Region is offering a scholarship opportunity for one student who will be entering a post-secondary school in 2021.
Eligible students must be:
- A Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- In good standing academically and non-academically with their secondary school
- Entering a post-secondary program within Ontario in 2021
- Graduating from a secondary school within one of the eligible school boards or school authorities within the Central West Region.
Students in the Upper Grand District School Board are eligible to apply to this scholarship.
OPSBA is looking for students with academic achievement, who have made contributions to the life of the school through extracurricular activities, are pursuing post-secondary education in Ontario and more. Scholarship recipients are students of strong character, who demonstrate leadership skills and who care deeply for their community.
Applicants are asked to explain in a maximum of 300 words their suitability for the Public Property Assessment Network Scholarship based on the established selection criteria. All applications must be accompanied by two letters of reference, one of which must be from the applicant’s school principal or principal designate on school letterhead. Letters of reference should not exceed two pages in length.
