Salem PS has entered the ‘sign war’ showcase

SALEM, Ontario – Grade 5 and 6 students at Salem Public School recently expressed their excitement to join the friendly community sign war showcase.
Earlier this month, local businesses in Perth County started playfully joking around with each other by sharing humorous signs outside of their businesses.
The phenomenon quickly spread with more and more businesses and communities joining. Eventually the sign wars came to Wellington County, which sparked the interest to participate for the students at Salem PS.
Messages submitted by students at the school were all positive in nature and included things like, “Mrs. Skerritt! We know you’re a person of great ‘Principal,’ however we think you should keep adding to our #SignWar.”
Since sharing the first sign, students have continued to bring forth their ideas.
Salem PS isn’t the only Wellington County school that has gotten involved, Minto-Clifford PS and Palmerston PS recently shared signs as well:
