Secondary students meet employers at Youth Employment Opportunity Fair

GUELPH, Ontario – Upper Grand District School Board and Wellington Catholic District School Board students in grades 11 and 12 met with eager employers at the 3^rd annual Youth Employment Opportunity Fair on May 14.

The event was held in partnership with the UGDSB, WCDSB, Career Education Council, Second Chance Employment Counselling and the UGDSB Specialist High Skills Major program and saw hundreds of students meet with potential employers. Employment opportunities ranged from summer employment to post-secondary opportunities and apprenticeship programs.
