January 17, 2018
GUELPH, Ontario – Students at John F. Ross CVI are hosting their annual end of semester art exhibition starting on February 1.
The Da Vinci Program is an arts and science environmental and community leadership program run out of John F. Ross CVI and hosted at the University of Guelph’s Arboretum.
This year’s art celebration is taking place at Studio 404 located at 404 York Road, Guelph. The show will run from 6:00 p.m., on February 1 until February 3. Admission to the show is free.
The theme of the exhibition is “Under Social Construction.” According to the Da Vinci Program’s press release, the theme “strives to question the ways in which our ideas, values, and norms shape us as individuals and as a society, and, in doing so, illustrates how our lives and communities are always in a state of becoming.”
The event will feature a silent auction; half of the proceeds will be donated to Guelph’s Wyndham House.
