UGDSB Cooperative Education Employer of the Week (April 25, 2022)

Each week, the Upper Grand District School Board highlights a different employer or organization in our community that supports Upper Grand students through cooperative education.

Purity-IQ Inc. is a global organization that uses science-based solutions and certifications to ensure that brands provide their customers with safe, uncontaminated products. Their work allows consumers to have full trust in the products they ingest or bring in contact with their bodies.

Purity-IQ also strongly believes in the importance of experiential learning in helping students gain skills and explore career opportunities. We are thrilled to have their involvement in our cooperative education program. 

This semester they are working with two students, and hope to host many more in the future. The students are being trained to prepare samples of botanical products for DNA analysis to detect impurities.  Macy MacLean at Purity-IQ has gone above and beyond to welcome them into the workplace and to ensure that they have a safe and positive learning experience in the lab. 

UGDSB would like to thank Macy and Purity-IQ for their efforts and we look forward to working with them in the future!
