UGDSB Cooperative Education Employer of the Week (Nov. 22, 2021)

Each week, the Upper Grand District School Board highlights a different employer or organization in our community that supports Upper Grand students through cooperative education.

The E.C. Bovey Building, on the main University of Guelph campus, was built in 1991.  The complex includes a large number of greenhouses and growth room facilities, including the tropical greenhouse, where students can work with a collection of plants such as tropicals, cacti and orchids.

For many years, Rodger Tschanz has provided UGDSB co-op students with a wide variety of tasks in the greenhouses, allowing students to gain a greater understanding of career opportunities in horticulture.
