UGDSB launches board-wide Kindness Campaign

For Immediate Release
November 18, 2019

GUELPH, Ontario – “See the good – be the good.” That’s the idea behind a new campaign that encourages positive behaviour in our digital spaces.

On November 20, 2019, the Upper Grand District School Board is launching a district-wide campaign aimed at promoting kindness online.

The Kindness Campaign encourages all members of our board and school communities to join in, doing their part to make the online world a better place to be, by sharing tips and resources for positive online habits and modelling kind behaviour.

The themes for the campaign are to “Make Connections with Good Intentions” and “Make Kindness Contagious.”

The Kindness Campaign launches online on November 20, however the work will continue in UGDSB schools and offices throughout the school year, featuring student work and community connections.

For more information on the Kindness Campaign, visit the board’s website and follow #UGKindness and #IncreaseKindness on Twitter.
