UGDSB recognizes World Suicide Prevention Day

September 10, 2020

GUELPH, Ontario – Every year on September 10, people all over the world connect to continue the conversation about preventing suicide.

As a school board, we continue to strive to make a safe place for students and staff.

On World Suicide Prevention Day, we recognize the impact of suicide and work toward preventing it.  World Suicide Prevention Day is a day to continue our work to prevent suicide and make our community stronger.

School Mental Health Ontario has prepared a Suicide Prevention Guide for Parents and Families during COVID-19 and the return to school. To view this guide, visit the SMHO website.
