UGLearnGreen: CWDHS holds Sustainable Style Swap

On Thursday October 28, 2021, Centre Wellington District High School held its first Sustainable Style Swap.
The swap was held a lunchtime and was a huge success. Donations were collected, washed, sorted and offered to students to shop for free. This initiative allows students to reduce their environmental footprint by shopping second hand, as well as supporting those in need in the community.
The Sustainable Style Swap will continue to be held every Thursday. In preparation for the winter season, the school is collecting new to lightly used warm clothing donations during school hours to the main office.
