Westminster Woods PS student selected as Patroller of the Year

GUELPH, Ontario – A grade 6 student at Westminster Woods Public School was recently selected as this year’s winner of the Ontario-wide Patroller of the Year Award.

The Patroller of the Year Award is awarded to a student in recognition of their leadership qualities and commitment to safety.

Suhaib K., was awarded this for his leadership qualities in the classroom, at his school, in the community and while he performed his Patroller duties.

His Patroller supervisors, Mr. Coutu and Mr. Forcey nominated Suhaib for this award after having had the opportunity to team up with the many amazing Safety Patrollers at Westminster Woods PS.
