Westside SS teacher named Orangeville Arts Educator of the Year

ORANGEVILLE, Ontario – Westside Secondary School music teacher Christa Davison has been named the 2019 Arts Educator of the Year by the Town of Orangeville.

Arts Educator of the Year is one of many awards that the Town of Orangeville gives out as part of their Arts and Culture awards program. These awards are to acknowledge and recognize the great work that community members do in the areas of Arts and Culture in Orangeville.
This year, Davison was nominated along with three other Orangeville community members for this category and was selected in September as the recipient. Davison joined the winners of the other categories at an awards celebration earlier this fall.
When asked about receiving this award, Davison said, “It is an honour to receive this award, I absolutely love working with students.”
