Staff conducted 5 regional Public Engagement Workshops to share information from the Background Report and gather input from the public. Staff also hosted 5 regional Public Meetings for the LTAP Final Report (Draft) throughout the month of May.
PHASE 1 Public Engagement (February 2018)
The goal of the first phase of Public Engagement was to provide the public with a broad understanding of the facts related to school accommodation, population trends, enrolment trends, school utilization, facility conditions, etc. and gather feedback to inform the draft LTAP and help to complete the picture of our school communities.
Staff presented a summary of the LTAP Background Report at stakeholder meetings including the Parent Involvement Committee (PIC), Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC), and Student Senate.
Staff also conducted 5 regional Public Engagement Workshops for the Background Report. A copy of the presentation slide deck and display boards for each meeting are posted below. Staff presented the Summary of Input from Phase 1 Public Engagement Report at the Business Operations Committee meeting on March 20, 2018.
