Dear Brant Ave families, 

Thank you for your continued support in our community battle against the spread of Covid-19. Thank you for modelling for our students appropriate physical distancing and mask wearing. Everyone has a role to play!

#1 Mark your Calendars: PA Day (Oct. 30th) is a day where the school is closed for students. 

#2 ECE and Child Care Appreciation Day is Thursday, October 22nd! Everyone at Brant Ave wants to thank our ECEs and the after school child care team for what they do for our students everyday. 

#3 Indoor Shoes and Warm Clothing:  The weather has turned to fall and colder, wetter days are here. Please help your child(ren) dress warmly. It is time for jackets, mits, layers and warm hats. Please also send indoor shoes to school if you have not done so already.

#4 Masks: Please ensure that masks fit your child(ren) correctly. Be sure that the fit is snug and comfortable. Check to be sure that your child’s nose is covered by the mask. Also, please pack extra masks. Soiled or wet masks do not provide adequate protection. 

#5 Absent or Late? If you know that your child(ren) will be absent or late please call the school 519-824-2671. You can leave a detailed message 24 hours a day. If you leave a message on our machine and you know that your child will be absent for longer than one day please leave those details as well so the office can be as accurate as possible. Thanks.
