Vaccination Disclosure Reporting

As announced by the province on August 17, 2021, all school boards must collect, maintain, and disclose key data metrics that relate to the provincial Vaccination Disclosure Policy. School boards are required to report aggregated, depersonalized statistical information regarding attestations to the Ministry of Education. School boards will not provide any identifying information to the Ministry; information shared will be in aggregate form. Boards are also required to post aggregated, depersonalized statistical information on the public website and continue doing so on a monthly basis for the 2021-22 school year.

The required information for the UGDSB is posted below and will be updated regularly. Please note that these numbers are changing often as more individuals complete their attestation.

Other individuals include those frequently in schools or other settings who may have direct contact with students or staff (e.g. visitors, volunteers, contractors, other professionals and student transportation drivers)

The UGDSB Wellness and Employee Health Department is working with staff who are not vaccinated to support the rapid antigen testing process, as the Ministry of Education has required based upon instructions received from Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health.  Some staff members have been unable to complete the attestation and the Wellness and Employee Health Department will be assisting these individuals in the coming days.
