Secondary Upgrading Credits (9 days)
Summer School Upgrading Credits
Upgrading courses are for students who have already passed a course (min. mark 50%) in the current school year but wish to improve their final grade and their understanding of course material.
Upgrading courses will contain similar content to the course completed at a student’s home school. The upgrading version of a credit is condensed (students have fewer &/or shorter assessments) and is completed in a 55 hour (9 day) format. Daily attendance is mandatory.
Upgrading sessions will be July 4th- 14th and/or July 15th – 27th. The Guelph location is John F. Ross CVI and the Orangeville location is the Grant Evans Education Cente.
Students registering for upgrading credits cannot select a preferred upgrading session as they are assigned in alignment with full credit programs and numbers.
All course offerings are dependent on sufficient enrollment. Transportation is not provided.
Registration for summer upgrading credits has now closed. There are limited seats still available in some upgrading courses. Please contact Continuing Education at 519-836-7280 ext. 628 to inquire regarding availability.
