Summer School Co-op

Summer School CoopThe Summer School Co-op program integrates classroom theory, online work and practical experience in the workplace. All students can benefit from a co-op experience regardless of their post-secondary destination of choice. Students earn two high school credits by participating in this program.  This program is intended for Upper Grand DSB or Wellington Catholic students, at least 15 years of age, who have completed the Grade 10 Careers course or a course linked to their desired area of work.

Skilled Trades Summer School Co-op

This program assists participants in making successful transitions to careers in the skilled trades. Participants will explore opportunities in the workplace while refining their employability skills. Successful participants will end up with employment in their chosen career field and may also have the opportunity to explore apprenticeship trades through the OYAP (Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program) while enrolled in co-op. This program is intended for students that have taken a senior-level technology course in their area of interest and are within 3-4 credits of graduation and who may not intend to return to secondary school in the fall.
