Summer School Coop
Summer Co-op programs integrate classroom theory, some online work and practical experience in the workplace. All students can benefit from a co-op experience regardless of the post-secondary destination of choice. Students earn two high school credits by participating in this program. This program is intended for Upper Grand or Wellington Catholic students, at least 14 years of age, who have completed the grade 10 Careers course or a course linked to desired area of work.
Registration for Summer School Coop 2019 will open in the spring.
Summer School Skilled Trades Co-op
This program assists participants in making successful transitions to careers in the skilled trades. Participants will explore opportunities in the workplace while refining their employability skills. Success participants will end up with employment in their chosen career field and may also have the opportunity to explore apprenticeship trades through the OYAP (Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program) while enrolled in Co-op.
