Summer School Co-op

Summer School CoopThe Summer School Co-op program integrates classroom theory, online work and practical experience in the workplace. All students can benefit from a co-op experience regardless of their post-secondary destination of choice. Students earn two high school credits by participating in this program.  This program is intended for Upper Grand DSB or Wellington Catholic students, at least 15 years of age, who have completed the Grade 10 Careers course or a course linked to their desired area of work.

Registration for 2022 Summer School Co-op is open Wednesday, February 2nd – Monday, March 7th.

Students who are attending an Upper Grand DSB high school, please register using myBlueprint.

Students who are not attending an Upper Grand DSB secondary school, please register using this Google form: https://forms.gle/xDmup1o46rT6zy8i8

Once registered, students will be sent a supplemental Google form which assists program coordinators in planning summer job placements.


Skilled Trades Summer School Co-op

This program assists participants in making successful transitions to careers in the skilled trades. Participants will explore opportunities in the workplace while refining their employability skills. Successful participants will end up with employment in their chosen career field and may also have the opportunity to explore apprenticeship trades through the OYAP (Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program) while enrolled in co-op.
