Staff Presentation of Orangeville/Dufferin Erin IB Survey Results and Feasibility Study Report
Thank you to all who filled in the survey to express interest in an International Baccalaureate programme (IB) in Orangeville/Dufferin or Erin.
The survey results and other feasibility criteria such as enrolment levels, participation rates and financial implications of offering the IB programme have been considered in the report “Orangeville/Dufferin and Erin International Baccalaureate (IB) Survey Results & Feasibility Study”.
Based on the information considered, the report indicates that the IB programme is not feasible to be offered in Orangeville, Dufferin or Erin at this time and staff is not recommending that the board pursue expansion of IB.
The report is being presented to Trustees at the Business Operations Committee meeting on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Guelph Board Office. All are welcome to attend.
The Board will make final decisions on this matter at the June 25, 2019 Board meeting.
