Dec., 30th, 2021

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health has notified us that an individual at Credit Meadows ES has tested positive for COVID-19 and they were at school during their infectious period. Public Health has determined that 10 days have since passed, which means that there is no requirement for high risk contacts to isolate.  As part of contact tracing, WDG Public Health has provided communication to high risk contacts, with a recommendation to monitor for symptoms and go for testing.

Please note that the board website only reflects active COVID-19 cases and because the isolation period has ended, this case is no longer considered an active case. We will continue to follow protocols provided by WDG Public Health to support a safe and healthy learning environment. We would also ask that families continue to monitor your personal health and complete the self screening tool each day before leaving for work or school.  COVID-19 School and Child Care Screening Tool

If you have questions, please visit the “For Schools” section of the WDGPH website: WDGPH Website

Sincerely,

D. Secord

Principal
