Welcome to Credit Meadows

credit meadows buildingCredit Meadows Elementary School began as a small satellite school located in the Brown’s Farm area of Orangeville. The school’s construction was completed at its current site, 220 Blind Line in Orangeville, in 1989. Population at the school steadily increased until the construction of Laurelwoods Elementary school at which time Credit Meadows experienced a boundary change. In 1998 approximately 150 students left Credit Meadows school to attend Laurelwoods E. S.

Initially approximately fifty percent of the students who attended the school were bussed to the school. Boundary changes, the building of sidewalks and the addition of school crossing guards has enabled students who attend the school to walk to school rather than be bussed.

Students who attend C.M.E.S. go on to attend Orangeville District Secondary School after completing their Grade 8 requirements. O.D.S.S. is within walking distance for all students at Credit Meadows.

At Credit Meadows we promote a safe, inclusive and positive community that celebrates differences, builds respect, and creates engaged life-long learners.
