While our students are distance learning, and are not able to access our CW Eats breakfast and lunch programs, the “Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington” has created an emergency food response program called “Fresh Food for Kids”. This program delivers healthy food directly out to families’ homes each week. If you are in need of food support at this time, please sign-up for a free “Fresh Food for Kids” food box …

Ontario has launched applications for the 2020-21 Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) for full-time students. In light of the Ministry of Education’s announcement that schools will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year, the UGDSB is putting plans in place for families and students to retrieve their personal items from schools – lockers, desks and other areas.

Director of Education, Martha Rogers, has written a letter to the graduating class of 2020 and their parents/guardians to provide details about secondary schools’ plans for fall commencement.
Parents/guardians are invited to read a letter from the Minister of Education, following the announcement from the province that schools will not reopen this school year.
The province has announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ontario schools will not reopen this school year. Distance learning will continue for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.
Upper Grand District School Board Director of Education, Martha Rogers, has written a letter to parents/guardians providing updated information on synchronous learning in the UGDSB.
