Welcome Back and First Day Routine
As we are all enjoying this long weekend, I know many students (and parents) are feeling excited to start with some back to school routines! Watch for our September Information Newsletter in your child’s backpack. All other news and calendar events will be posted on our website.
On the Tuesday morning:
- All staff will meet Grades 1-8 students outside on the hard top at 8:35. Students should gather around posted grade numbers (1-8). Once the bell has gone, teachers will call out names and take their new class into the school. There will be many staff members outside to direct our students who have the first day jitters!
- If it rains, the same process will be carried out in the gym. In this case, we ask that parents say their good byes in the yard. We promise, your children are in good hands and all staff will be available to direct and welcome our students back!
- Kindergarten students will go directly to the fenced kindergarten area to meet their teachers and enter into their classrooms.
